A CLOSER LOOK AT THE NATHAN DRAKE SIXTH SCALE FIGURE

The Nathan Drake Sixth Scale Figure from Sideshow Collectibles is out now, and goodness is he handsome. You'll know Nathan Drake as the star of the Uncharted video games where you adventure for treasure, nothing goes your way, and you often wind up in a shootout.

This figure retails for $159.99. To give you a better idea of how the figure actually looks, we took our own high res photos. Click through the slideshow gallery below to get a closer look and hear our observations on the piece.

As with all of these Sixth Scale figures, Drake comes with a base that helps him stand tall. This one has the Uncharted III: Drake’s Deception logo on it. Note that this isn’t a statue, but a highly detailed figure with real cloth clothing. His shirt and scarf are dirty from treasure hunting and diving in the dirt to avoid being shot. We wish his belt buckle stayed shut more easily, but it could also be that way to fit his character.

The figure is fully poseable and comes with a bunch of accessories including a treasure map, a pistol and machine gun, ammo packs, and an heirloom ring (that he may or may not have stolen) around his neck. Drake’s face has a 5 o’clock shadow, a few nicks and cuts, and two deep, piercing green eyes that we can’t stop looking into.

Between the many points of articulation and interchangeable hands, you can pretty much make him do any pose. Here’s Drake in a running pose with the handgun accessory.

There’s also one of those creepy spiders from the third Uncharted game. We still haven’t forgotten the tense segment with these spiders where we thought we weren’t going to make it…

The textured paint job and detailed mandibles are so realistic that playing with this figure is a living nightmare. We don't sleep well anymore.
