Anyone who pre-ordered The Last of Us: Remastered on PS4 should expect a $10 refund following a price drop.
Digital copies of the title were originally available to pre-order for $60, though this was dropped to $50 over the weekend. This understandably drew the ire of those who felt they were being punished for pre-ordering, prompting Sony's Adam Boyes to promise onTwitter that refunds will materialise in the next five to seven business days.
The Last of Us: Remastered's release date surfaced during this year's E3, and it set for the tail-end of next month. The game originally launched on PlayStation 3 in June of 2013 -- almost exactly a year ago, right now -- and it was a masterpiece. It won IGN's Game of the Year 2013 award.
