Chair Entertainment and 3D printing company Sandboxr are taking Infinity Blade characters from the mobile game and bringing them into the real world.
From within the Infinity Blade III app, players will be able to create their own unique characters, who can then order a 3D printed statue to be delivered to their home. The figures will be able to show off a variety of armor and weapon setups, making each statue stand out in their own way. Chair will also be offering preset "Hero" figures that were designed by the development team.
"The ability to take something from the virtual world, customize it, and push a button to transform it into the physical world is magic," said Donald Mustard, Co-Founder / Creative Director for Chair, in a press release. "We're excited to introduce collectibles that allow fans to create what they decide is the ultimate expression of their character. We can’t wait to see all of their amazing Infinity Blade creations."
Prices for custom Siris and Isa figures range from $20 USD for a 3.5-inch model, up to $90 for a 6-inch statue. The current prices include a $10 discount that is being offered for a limited time.
In our review, we felt that Infinity Blade III was the biggest and best entry in the series due to its great voice acting, beautiful visuals, and refined combat. The game can be downloaded now for Apple's iPhone and iPad through iTunes for $7.
