Nintendo has announced Transparent Red and Transparent Blue 2DS models are set to launch in Europe on November 7.
The models, which you can see below, will be available on their own from that date, or as part of a bundle with either Pokemon Omega Ruby or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire once the remakes release on November 28. The bundles will contain the corresponding colour 2DS model along with a copy of one of the games pre-installed on a 4GB memory card.
In related news, Nintendo has also confirmed a demo version of both Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be available from October 15 until launch from a number of retailers including Game, Amazon, Smyth Toys Superstores, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official Store.
We're trying to find out how people in other territories can get the demo, and whether we should expect these handheld models to appear anywhere else. As soon as we know more, we'll update the story.
These remakes of Ruby and Sapphire were announced early four months ago, along with a short trailer that gave a quick glimpse at how the 2003 hits would look on Nintendo's newest generation of handheld hardware.
