Destiny will be offline for several hours on November 13 to prepare for the series of updates planned for the upcoming weeks, developer Bungie announced today.
“Once services are restored, your experience as a player will be unchanged,” the post reads. “The updates we’re making will be on our side, so you won’t need to download or install a new batch of content.”
The maintenance window will begin November 13 at around 8:00 a.m PT and is expected to be complete at midday or shortly after “if all goes according to plan.”
Last week, Bungie outlined that the incoming updates will usher in new shaders, purchase previews, increased odds for public events, new economies to equip players with upgrade materials, several technical fixes and the possibility of an "even more generous Cryptarch."
Destiny players on Xbox Live recently suffered matchmaking problems, and are currently experiencing problems when trying to post statistics to leaderboards.
