Media Molecule's co-founder and Technical Director Alex Evans came to Sony's press conference this year to reveal a new game called Dreams. A game in which you create what is on your mind, anything you can think of, anything you would dream of. You can create characters, music, levels, worlds, and animations. But what does that mean? Let's have a look at the reveal trailer:
"Dreams™ is a space where you go to play and experience the dreams of Media Molecule and our community. It’s also a space in which to create your own dreams, whether they’re games, art, films, music or anything in-between and beyond.", says the Media Molecule's Dream website. That sounds great! But still, we have not much info on how the gameplay exactly will be.
Dreams is looking weird and beautiful, just like a game I would expect from Media Molecule, maker of the Little Big Planet games, at least the first two. Weird and beautiful doesn't mean success in the game industry, nowadays. I really hope for Mm that this can be a commercial hit just like Little Big Planet has been before.
