Why Ryse deserves a sequel

Ryse is one of those game where you can easily spend hours playing in the arena, either on your own or with a friend. The game was beautiful in presentation, probably the best looking launch title of them all, Cryengine was a triumph.

The story wasn't spectacular, but it had moments where you actually cared about Marcus' reign of brutallity across the entire empire. So, why should it get a sequel? Well, for starters, it was a great start, true the game made too much use of the QTE mechanic but it laid the foundations for great improvement. The executions were great, unlocking them as you go along by completing missions and finding collectables.

Ryse needs to be explored more, there are literally thousands of stories Ryse can explore within the Roman Empire. Even visiting Troy to show the start of the Roman world.

Microsoft should and must look into creating a stronger version of Ryse, bring the multiplayer in to modes where you can fight each other as well as being a Horde mode with objectives. The more dimensions you bring to the game the better.
