"Prison Architect allows you to act as both architect and governor – you control every detail of your prison, from building new cells and facilities to hiring staff and creating reform programs – all while dealing with informants, contraband smuggling, gang warfare, full scale riots and a lot more!"
Do you like a prison that is being governed a bit harsher by keeping everything in strict order or are you more like the pacifist person who is a bit laid back and give your prisoners some games to play? You can decide! And this is what makes this game so attractive and addictive.
Prison Architect offers a story campaign and a sandbox mode where you can do whatever you want. This is where you are probably going to spend most of your hours in the game. There is so much to do: research new objects, facilities, methods to deal with your prisoners, give your prisoners some jobs and get them ready to live a peaceful life when they get out, make money by selling stuff your prisoners produced in your prison. Every now and then someone smuggles some weapons in, tries to escape, or a riot breaks loose. Let me tell you, your hands are going to be full. There is work to be done, everywhere.
Mark Morris, the co-founder of Introversion, says "once your prison is built, go online with World of Wardens to share your designs with the community. You can also browse and play other Architects’ prisons from around the world!
"We’re planning to release Prison Architect on PS4 this spring. Thanks everyone!"
