No Man’s Sky Coming in June, Retail Version Announced

No Man's Sky has come a long way now but finally the ship has landed. Creator of the game and Managing Director at the small studio Hello Games, Sean Murray, announced a release date for the "Minecraft-ian" space survival simulator for PlayStation 4. We are getting three dates: June 21st for North America, June 22nd for Europe, and June 24th for the UK.

But this is not all, the game that creates its universe procedurally will get a physical edition as well.

Not enough? Well, Sean Murray compiled a nice Limited Edition, too. This edition will include a comic book created by himself, Dave Gibbons (co-creator of Watchmen and Kingsman), James Swallow (Mass Effect, Star Wars, Deus Ex writer) and famous sci-fi book cover artist Angus McKie. Alongside the comic, there will be a Steelbook cover of the game, a dynamic theme by Mr Div (creator of the No Man's Sky logo), as well as a physical copy of No Man's Sky.

Last but not least, pre-orders are open today on physical and digital versions of the game. Depending on the retailer, there might be some exclusive pre-order offers.

JerriKoe - Game on!
